Our women's ministry is reaching out to ladies around our community who desire to learn how to live in the glorious promises of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The primary event of this ministry is the weekly Bible study that meets on
Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. downstairs in the fellowship hall of our church.
In this informal and relaxed atmosphere, the Word of God is studied in a expository format and taught inductively, diligently and in depth.
Our teachers seek to develop disciples who are growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
There is also a strong emphasis of discovering the gifts God has given each person and how to utilize those gifts for the glory of God in our church, our families and our communities.
Along with Bible studies and discipleship there are regular activities to keep things fresh and allow for greater opportunity to connect with others. Some of the events that have been a blessing in the past are; Field trips to one of the many prayer gardens in Phoenix, hosting the Magdalena movie for those in the community, canning events and more.

Additional activities and small group events include:
One on One Discipleship
Simone meets and disciples women one on one.
Discovering and Developing Spiritual Gifts
Learning God given gifts and applying them by serving to the glory of God in our church,
families and communities.
Ministering to Shut Ins
Through prayer, greeting cards, phone calls, visitation, ministry of worship and praise
Providing Cooking and Canning Classes
To provide food to those needed families and those in the communities
Outreach
Visiting and reaching those in the community that are unchurched
Simone's Bio
Simone Lake is the director of the Women's ministry.
She has a Masters of Theological Studies from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
She writes articles on Biblical themes for one of the local newspapers, and is a gifted speaker.
Simone is married to John Lake (Pastor John) and loves short term mission trips, hiking and the cello.
